For any woman who has reached a turning point
in her life, ready to make significant changes but
not quite sure how (or even what exactly!),
I know just how it feels.
A few years ago I experienced a major internal
shift which led to some major life changes. Over
time I created new habits, raised my standards,
changed old beliefs, discovered my life purpose and
set new goals. Along the way, I learned important
lessons and skills which have direct application for
my clients.
The most important realization is this: When
the time comes to change and grow, it helps to slow
down, be still inside and pay attention to Spirit.
Life-transforming powers, true inspiration, and the
best way forward arise from there. I believe we must
attend to Spirit first!”
That’s how I finally heard the call to my
most authentic self. It’s how I found the courage to
leave the security of my corporate career to start
my own business. And it’s how I have come to
experience the most fulfilling time of my life.
Personal Interests
Anything to do with boats and being on or by the
water. This explains some of the photographs and
the sailing metaphors you see here on my website!
My husband John and I spend most weekends
living aboard our express cruiser. Sailing and motor
boating have been part of our lives for many years
and is our most favorite thing to do together.
Having recently moved to the Charlotte area and
scoring a nice slip on Lake Norman, we’re looking
forward to new boating escapades and making new
friends!
Other favorites: Nature photography; books
and reading, especially on personal growth and
spirituality; baking and candy-making; writing
haiku-like poetry; teaching myself to play the
Native flute; the entire animal kingdom; my
spiritual & physical fitness practices; being
engaged in coaching conversations.
Joyful Transitions
As a citizen of Canada, I was born, raised and
educated mostly in the Montreal area, worked
there and in Toronto, then moved to northern New
Jersey with John, where we lived and worked for 18
years before recently moving to the Charlotte area.
After 25 years supporting senior executive
leaders in Canada and the U.S., I discovered
professional coaching and never looked back. I had
simply found my most meaningful life’s work. As soon
as I could manage it financially, I left the
corporate world to start my own coaching business.
Working closely with clients as their
personal success coach is a calling of love and
service that I find extremely rewarding. Comforting,
encouraging and inspiring others to create their
best lives is the most fulfilling work I’ve ever
done.
When the timing is right and our paths do cross,
I hope the Spirit First approach will help you
navigate the most genuine and fulfilling stage yet
in your journey through life.
