FAQ
Do I need to have any religious affiliation or particular spiritual practice in order to become a Spirit First client?
No. This method is open to any mother who wants to deepen her connection to her inner Self. It is open to mothers of any faith, as well as those who do not have a religious affiliation. Most of my clients have been Spiritual seekers who have explored a number of spiritual practices. All are welcome. My clients are open to examining how their beliefs and accompany emotions are creating their life experiences, via the Law of Attraction.
What am I committing to?
Embarking on your own healing journey involves making a commitment of approximately 15 minutes per day, outside of your coaching sessions, to uncover your own inner truth and how that truth empowers you to create the life you desire. I have found that you will heal faster and create permanent life changes, when you participate in 15 minutes per day of homework. Completing weekly homework assignments will assist you in creating the life you desire for yourself and your family.
Who benefits from the Empowerment Ladder?
Mothers who are competent in multiple areas of their lives but who want to take that competency to a level of empowerment, while discovering grace and enhanced joy, are ideal candidates for this program. It is not designed for mothers who have major mental illness, are under the care of a psychiatrist or are actively engaged in substance abuse.
How much does coaching cost?
A 60 minute session typically costs $100.00. However, a sliding scale for enrolling might be considered and arranged at the discretion of Karen Hasselo. Payment is expected in advance of any coaching services.
Are there additional considerations?
Depending upon your package, you might be required to purchase the Self-Mastery Set as well as the Spiritual Distinction Meditation MP3.

Do you work with clients who are not mothers of special needs children but who still want an empowerment process?
Absolutely. My passion is to help mothers of special needs children. However, I am open to working with clients, over age 18, who want to address other life areas. I will clinically measure and help you quantify your self-help objectives, while facilitating an empowerment process customized to your specific needs.
